  Really not a bad place to stay they just really need to improve on their snow removal.

  The rooms do look very dated, and there are next to no in-room commodity (Your water comes from the bathroom tap). The views are obscured by trees with the exception of a few rooms. The road to your room is absolutely horrendous with potholes that could possibly damage your vehicle if you hit them. They don't have enough parking stalls for each compound of rooms, so if you're not early then you could end up parking at the main building and walking 3-5 minutes uphill.

  My husband and I had stayed here for his sisters wedding and overall I was happy and disappointed at the same time. The venue was beautiful and the food was very tasty. The staff during the reception were good. But then there had been two days of alot of snow fall and none of the staff at the resort removed any snow from the walking areas around the rooms and resort. My husband, his father-in-law and other wedding guests had to do the snow removal themselves. Also the day of the wedding which was on the island the path to the ceremony had not been cleared so yet again my husband and others had to clear the path. That should not be up to the guests paying to stay at this resort. Also the outdoor hot tub which I was looking forward to sitting in had a foot of snow all around it. I did not want to walk barefoot through snow to get to it.

  Great place in a beautiful location. Rooms were tidy and clean and really nice inside. Would love to see the restaurant open for breakfast more mornings rather than having only muffins to choose from

  The lake which it's next too is clear as glass, great for swimming.

  Fabulous location! Clean cabins. Helpful staff. Fantastic restaurant with beautiful views. I would not hesitate to stay here again. We loved it!

  I'd avoid any sort of rentals, I waited 45 minutes in line just to settle for 2 single kayaks because everything else was taken. They need to expand the tiny shack and buy more equipment.

  Our stay has been great. Particularly with the discount the Marmot Escape card provides. We were upgraded to one of the upper level, newly renovated suites with a view of the lake. The room is beautiful, with high rafter ceilings and a cozy fireplace. The sauna and outdoor hot tub is nice after a long day of skiing.

  scenery alone is one of the most beautiful natural environments I've seen. You feel calm and secluded, it makes it all worth it for the price.
